Like many people I was tired of working at my job. Between the commute, the meetings, co-workers, and my boss I wanted to find a way to quit and live my life.

The book "How To Retire Before 40" was just the thing I needed. The book talked about how anyone can retire with $100,000 or more in assets. To be honest I thought this couldn't be accurate or true.

The book showed me how to get rid of all my debt, reduce my expenses, and invest my money. The section on creating passive income streams was very helpful.

It talked about how to start out making an online income and how to increase your income through ebooks and websites, etc. In addition, the section on taking your interests and hobbies and making them into small income streams was very good.

One of the things I liked about the book was the asset protection section and the section on reducing taxes during retirement. These are topics that are rarely mentioned in early retirement books.

The book continues on into areas such as dealing with family, friends, and how the mentality of being an early retiree. These issues are very relevant to anyone who is considering early retirement. I had never thought about these issues before.

If you have ever considered retiring early there are many chapters that will explain exactly what it is like, if it fits into your lifestyle, and gives you a real world plan to accomplish it in a short time frame.

Every Straight Guy is Now in Competition With Every Lesbian For the Hot Babes

Let me recommend a book that you should read if you are a straight guy and worried that you can no longer compete local lesbians for the hottest women.

The book is: "Roberts' Rules of Lesbian Dating" By Shelley Roberts; Spinsters Ink Books; 1st edition (August 1998).

Why should you read this book? Well, let me tell you all a little true story; Okay, so there I was sipping on a White Mocha Frappachino, with one-pump of Hazelnut, one-pump of Cinnamon and no whip, when two hot looking girls walked in. The place was filled with guys, so needless to say everyone's heads turned. One girl grabbed the others butt and squeezed, I imagine most of the guys there, were going; "oh yah!"

Me, well, I figured out they were lesbians before they even walked through the door after seeing that little rainbow sticker on the car. A funny thing happened though, another totally perfect blonde drives up in a Porsche and parks out front, and comes bouncing in wearing here workout suit, there is a gym across the street from Starbucks.

The two lesbians immediately start a conversation with her and this goes on while all the other guys are listening and watching, and everyone once in a while one speaks up with a funny comment trying to break into the conversation to no avail. Turns out before the conversation was over the two lesbians had invited the Porsche chic over to their place for the next day for tennis and Jacuzzi.

One of them mentioned she was a certified masseuse, and every guy in the place was thinking like; "Oh please, invite me, invite me!" That led me to this next observation and perhaps one that most guys are not thinking about, but should be completely alarmed over and that is as the gay movement grows in popularity; "Every straight guy is now in competition with every Lesbian for the Hot Babes."

And judging from this brief event at the local Starbucks, they should be worried, as they will probably lose. Think on this and read the book I mentioned above.

Book Review: The Art of Non-Conformity - Set your own rules, live the life you want and change the world by Chris Guillebeau

There are many amongst us who feel like their life is not flowing the way they would like it to, this creates a feeling of dissatisfaction. This book will give you just the thing you need in order to inspect different aspects of your life. You will ask yourself questions and also provide the answers and in the process, you will end up changing it and doing wonders for yourself. Seems like a self help book doesn't it? well perhaps, but I haven't seen another self help book which provides such an interesting read. This one provides inspiration in place of tips and tricks to work your way up and that is what makes it so special.

The book is set on a theme which is really worth anyone's time and sends a simple message to you which is that there is more than a single way to live your life and you do not have to follow the normal pattern of working to retire. Chris himself is a traveller and travels around the globe while being a writer and businessman, he uses this book to give us an idea of how he has achieved all that he has in his life, paving the way for our own imaginations to run wild and do well for ourselves.

The book has a very simple recommendation for its readers. Chris tells you to set a goal for yourself and follow it until the very end, until you achieve it. Even though there will be thousands of hurdles in the way, often even from friends and loved ones, one must not lose focus and continue towards his or her goal. Every chapter in the book will open your mind to some aspect of your life and by the end of it; you'll be deep in thought, scrutinizing your own life deeply.

This is not a book that will help you make a lot of money and be 'successful' - rather it is a book which will guide you in searching for your own interests, likes and dislikes and finally coming up with what you are really passionate about. Add to this the fact that it is quite inexpensive and a quick read for anybody and you have the complete package for you to take home.

Chris shows that by pursuing an unconventional life and embracing life as a personal and constant adventure you can do marvelous things and ultimately change the world.
